MyGentic Overview
A memory layer that follows you across every AI assistant.
MyGentic builds a private, verified context layer from the sources you connect — email, calendar, documents, notes and more. Instead of re-explaining yourself to every AI tool, you connect MyGentic once and your assistant answers with the full picture of your work and world.
The MyGentic MCP connector lets Claude and other MCP-compatible clients read that context and save new memories back — with your explicit permission, and under privacy controls you set per client.

Connect to Claude
Add MyGentic as a connector in a few steps.
- Create your MyGentic account
Sign up at
https://app.mygentic.ioand connect the sources you want available (email, Drive, Notion, and more). - Copy your MCP link
In the dashboard, open Connections → MCP and copy your personal MCP endpoint.
- Add the connector in Claude
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste your MyGentic MCP link.
- Authorize access
You'll be sent to MyGentic to sign in and approve the connection over OAuth 2.1. Approve, and you're returned to Claude — connected.
- Start using it
Ask Claude anything about your work. It will pull the right context from MyGentic automatically, and can save new memories on request.
Data & permissions
What the connector can access, and what it never does.

| Read your context | The connector can retrieve memories you have chosen to sync, filtered by your per-client privacy settings. |
| Write memories | It can save new memories only when you ask the assistant to remember something, or if you enable conversation capture. |
| Account-scoped | Access is limited to your own account. The connector can never read another user's data. |
| You stay in control | Revoke the connection at any time from Connections in the MyGentic dashboard — access ends immediately. |
MyGentic requests only the access needed to deliver your context. It does not read data from sources you haven't connected, and it never shares your data with third parties.
Privacy & security
Your context is yours.
- Encrypted at rest. Connected-account tokens and your data are encrypted in storage.
- Least-privilege access. Each connected client only ever sees the memory you allow, controlled per destination.
- PII protection. Personal identifiers are redacted before content is sent to external models.
- No data sold. We never sell your data or use it to train third-party models.
- Full control & deletion. Export or permanently delete your data at any time from your account.
